/Pharmaceutical PR News/ - Arecibo, Puerto Rico, May 8, 2008, Dr. Rosario Garcia, Technical Support Senior Scientist for Abbott Diagnostics International Limited, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceutics.
Dr. Garcia obtained her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus in 2004. She began her career at Abbott Diagnostics four years ago and since then has acquired a mastery of product management. As technical support senior scientist, she is responsible for managing products, managing product investigations, transfers and launches, and working on projects that support liability issues. A member of the American Society for Quality, Dr. Garcia aspires to expand her knowledge of other products through cross training and to rise to the position of principal scientist within the next five years. She attributes her success to her personal drive and the support she receives from her friends and teachers. She counts the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and the local United Fund among her favorite charities.
