SEATTLE, WA, February 26, 2009 /Pharmaceutical PR News/ -- Jayne Meyer, Senior Clinical Trial Associate with Dendreon Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of pharmaceutical trials.
Ms. Meyer has an impressive 34 years of professional experience, three of which have been in her current position with Dendreon Corporation, a biotechnology firm. At her post, she is tasked with ensuring the safe conduct of clinical trials and ensuring the implementation of mandated rules to meet regulatory compliance. In addition, she trains staff members and develops standard operating procedures. Prior to joining Dendreon Corporation, Ms. Meyer was the manager of clinical affairs with Xcyte Therapies, Inc. (2001-2005), a clinical research associate with SangStat Medical Corporation (1995-2001), a clinical transplant coordinator with the University of Washington Medical Center (1989-1995), and a clinical transplant coordinator and ICU staff nurse with Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, Texas (1974-1989).
A passion for the healthcare field and the support she receives from her colleagues are the keys to Ms. Meyer's success. Previously a certified clinical transplant coordinator, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. Formerly certified in advanced cardiac life support, she is a former member of the North American Transplant Coordinators Organization and the International Society for Heart & Lung Transplantation.
