Skila Launches 11.0 Version of Technology Platform

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ, June 03, 2009 /Pharmaceutical PR News/ -- Skila, A Sela2 Company, announces the launch of the 11.0 version of its technology platform. The 11.0 release incorporates new capabilities that include: an advanced state-of-the art search interface; the ability to create customizable reports that capture any data available within the solution; the ability to integrate even more sources of information in 360-degree profiles; new tools and frameworks for configuration, knowledge management and system administration; additional web 2.0 capabilities with the integration of Blogs and other social media; an offline extension with significantly upgraded Lotus Notes integration and visualization capabilities; extensive utilization of Apache Lucene; an upgrade to Oracle 10g; an upgrade to Weblogic 9.2; and the incorporation of Flex/Flash technology. As a result 11.0 users will experience increased speed, a new state of the art search interface and even more integration with existing technology investments.

Skila has increased the ability to integrate even more sources of information in the 360-degree profiles with a more unified process of loading and importing information of any type from any source and assigning that data to profile entities. The 11.0 release also embeds Crystal Reports capabilities and offers flexible, on-the fly customizable reports that capture any data available within the solution.
