Edmund J. Elder, Jr. puts his education and experience to good use by teaching others
MADISON, WI, June 29, 2010 /Pharmaceutical PR News/ -- Edmund J. Elder, Jr., Ph.D., Director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
Dr. Elder received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Medical University of South Carolina in 1985. Four years later, he acquired his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science from the same university. Currently, he exhibits his expertise in pharmaceutical operations as the director of the Lenor Zeeh Pharmaceutical Experiment Station in the School of Pharmacy of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Utilizing 21 years of experience in his field, he specializes in pharmaceutical formulations. He oversees the Station and directs all activities such as laboratory services and educational programs for researchers and external companies.
A member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the European Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Elder attributes his success to his hard work and dedication. In the future, he intends to coordinate successful experiments at Lenor Zeeh Pharmaceutical Experiment Station.
