Mel Davis & Associates is an Australian-based consulting company which provides healthcare knowledge and education services to healthcare professionals and corporate clients. They provide teaching and training in intravenous drug and fluid administration. It is their goal to reduce hospital medication errors as well as promote improved practices for preparation and administration of injectable drugs, intravenous infusions and parenteral nutrition solutions.
Melvyn Davis is a Consultant Clinical Pharmacist. During his educational career, he graduated as a Pharmaceutical Chemist from the University of Tasmania. He is a Fellow of The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia. He was the founding Director of Pharmacy at Woden Valley Hospital in the ACT. In the time away from his busy schedule, Mr. Davis enjoys classical music and the practice of photography.
