Kathryn Cortney Hudgens Christenson brings expertise in HIV, diabetes and immunization to Walgreens

Currently on her sixth year with Walgreens, Kathryn Cortney Hudgens Christenson is best noted for her customer service skills and her expertise in HIV, diabetes and immunization. In the position of pharmacy manager for the pharmaceutical retail giant, she is responsible for filling prescriptions, advising customers on over-the-counter medication, reviewing doctors' orders, billing, managing insurance, and administering immunization. Ms. Hudgens Christenson considers building relationships with customers and providing them with important healthcare information to be the most vital and rewarding aspects of her work. Ms. Hudgens Christenson earned her doctor of pharmacy in 2005 from The University of Georgia, Athens. She is a certified HIV pharmacist and holds a certification in vaccinations. She is a member of the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists. Her favorite charities include the Victory Junction Gang Camp and the University of Georgia Scholarship Foundation.
