Dr. Lentz earned a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from Johns Hopkins University in 1978, having received a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University in 1975 and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from James Madison University in 1973. He is a member of the American Chemical Society.
